Brian Ying scored 23 point and grabbed 12 rebounds and Notre Dame de Namur beat the Vulcans 82-80 in Belmont, Calif.

The Argonauts’ lead hovered around 10 points for much of the game until Van Lockett hit a jumper at the 8:56 mark.

After Jalen Young’s free throw made the score 58-49, the Vulcans (4-12, 4-8 PacWest) went on a run as Salim Gloyd and Lockett scored the next eight points to narrow the lead to one. The Argonauts (3-16, 2-10) built the gap to four but Gloyd answered with a dunk and jumper to tie the game at 67 with 17 seconds on the clock. Both teams called time outs to set their final plays.
